Continuing the Drumlin Farm series, but back to the greenery of the plant kindom - back near the languishing sheep from Tuesday's "Blessed Relief" post there was a field of strawberry plants about the size of a regulation football field ( aside: it doesn't matter whether you visualize real football here or that kind we play here in the US - I'm just "ballparking it" here...ouch, I know. ) I had to get a few shots of this mass of green and this one seemed the best of the lot (having a welcome and visible absence of dusty grasshoppers). I can't imagine how many bushels of berries this field will yield but man alive, there's gonna be some shortcake a-cookin' at Drumlin Farm when these beauties are ripe!
Note: I've added an Info section over in the sidebar.
