Even in the growing cold hardness of the city in autumn, this rose was trying to bloom - I liked the hint of sun against the wall and I like even more how that light seems to stream from the rose itself.

At this moment, this image says more to me about hope than any campaign banner or poll result.

There is still hope on this Election Day.
