What better way to ring in the winter solstice than with a bit of blinding greenery? Discovered during our recent park visit, this bit of plant life was absolutely singing in its own bright light - I haven't done much at all to the saturation here...it really was that resonant in the cloudy overcast! This is the frame as shot - I was initially going to crop out the upper right, darker corner but reconsidered its value as a foil for all that color.
