I knew there was something in this shot, but it looked too plain to me - I usually have decent luck in using the glowing edges filter in Photoshop to bring out interesting pattern, texture and color shift. This was a fine 2002 Merlot, now gone but not forgotten - currently working on a rather complex Cabernet of the same vintage:-) Happy New Year!!!

I'm really looking forward to getting caught up with all my regular visits and getting back into my daily rounds - I've been lax in my visits lately, but I haven't forgotten you all! Just enjoying a much-needed low key break from the routine:-)
