OK. Winter finally showed its face here over the last couple of weeks and although recent unseasonable temperatures have rid us of nearly all the snow, I've got enough of that chill in my bones that I'm thinking back to, oh...around July:-) Here's one from the old Nikon, minimally cropped from a 3:4 to a 2:3 aspect, taken this past July at one of our favorite locations: Borderland State Park. This area is one of the most photogenic places in my neck of the woods, always yielding a bounty of images with each visit - there's an ivy-covered mansion on the property that will most definitely be seen here in the future, once I get a chance to visit with the Canon rig.
This sky shot could not be passed up - nope. Not a chance:-)
**UPDATE** I'm pleased as punch to announce that the recent image of my 'dog-in-law', Tully, is now in fine company over at dogsbreath.org, the brainchild of Bob from the ever-popular No Traces - Thanks for the spot in the doggie park!
