Here we see the runaround at Crawford Depot, the midpoint destination on our train ride through the White Mountains - the engine (vintage Canadian National stock from the 1950's) is moving away from us here, in the process of connecting to the far end of the train for the return trip. An engineer and the conductor are seen walking alongside the first class car where the double engine was connected for the trip up into the notch.
