Photo Info
These flowers were found just outside the train station in North Conway, NH - not the most solid photo in terms of technical precision, but it just called to me. The coloring treatment here was done mainly to de-emphasize some major color halos around the petals produced by the tiny lens of the 885 and the zing of the flowers' original coloring. The gradient map used to color this shot was built from tones and hues found in the original image.
I'm kicking myself that due to an extended snowy commute and a downed internet connection, I was unable to make a contribution to the photoblogs.org fund drive. BUT...in a blinding display of solidarity, contributing members raised the needed funds inside of 24 hours!! Check out some of the comments - HERE
