One last shot from the Borderland visit before you are inundated with samples from the new lens:-) I took two frames of this scene and honestly thought that both would be total crap - there was a breeze picking up that was fairly steady and it seemed that both images would turn out blurry. I was quite pleased to find that this shot was definitely of use and apart from a bit of levels and curves, this is straight from the RAW. Although it looks like a fall image, it was indeed snapped at the end of the first week of spring - you can see the new buds beginning to form. Amazing that those leaves could hold on all winter, as we've had some serious weather.
note: my hosting provider has been having some issues with server load, so my apologies go out to all who have patiently waited out the commenting process over the last couple of days - things seem to have been restored at this point but posting this entry has been, well, 'tricky'.
