I decided to put the 50mm on for the last few frames of another stroll in beautiful spring weather - I looked up and thought this branch stub would make a nice shot against the dappled bokeh for which this lens is known. Little did I know that there was an insect of some sort, keeping a low profile tucked under the branch and invisible to the many birds darting about in the canopy above.
