Found at Stony Brook Wildlife Sanctuary, Norfolk MA

It seems like this fallen nest box might have been a victim of the elements - perhaps expanding ice popped it from the installed location in the pines above. Fortunately for feathered friends seeking lodging, this will likely be repaired by sanctuary staff in short order and returned to service for another season.
