Found at Bridgewater State College, Bridgewater MA

This is the underside of one of the ornamental planters that flank the front steps outside Boyden Hall - a simple basket weave pattern adds a bit of movement to the texture of this basic cast concrete item. Add some reflected afternoon sunlight and a pale, blue sky to complete the recipe. I was drawn to the warm/cool combo presented here.
