Found at Wellfleet Bay Wildlife Sanctuary, South Wellfleet MA

Here we have some kind of beach lichen, crisscrossed by bits of dried grasses - this kind of textural scene helped satisfy my recent cravings for such things. Twelve images seems like a good number for this sanctuary series, so today wraps the visual visit to this part of Cape Cod - beginning tomorrow, we head north a bit and skip over to the ocean side of the Cape.
