Found at Marconi Station, South Wellfleet MA
Marconi Station is just about smack in the middle of the 40 miles of eastern coastline that comprises just a part of the Cape Cod National Seashore - some 43,000 acres have been protected since 1961 when JFK saw fit to enable the preservation of this delicate environment. Today's view shows the expanse of heath-like terrain that tops the edge of a prominent bluff that rises 85 feet above the beach below - to the south lies Marconi Beach, our visual destination for the coming week and the final stop of this impromptu serial view of South Wellfleet.
