Found in the Ferry Building, San Francisco CA
I've long been interested in how constructed forms can mimic natural forms, so when I noticed coinciding curves of window arch and palm frond on the upper level of the Ferry Building, the shot was a must. Of course, this following of form only happens in certain locations, visually speaking - one must be on the lookout for such happenings. I wonder if these large, potted palms were chosen to be placed here because of how their forms would complement those found in the architecture...
