Found along the Golden Gate Promenade, San Francisco CA
The San Francisco Bay was gently lapping against the breakwater during our long stroll from the Golden Gate Bridge to Fisherman's Wharf - after having seen in person Ansel Adams' five-print Surf Sequence (1940) at an exhibition at Boston's Museum of Fine Arts, I've been continually inspired to photograph the changing tides whenever presented with such opportunities. How could I resist when strolling in the hometown of that great master of the craft?
