By the time we had left Grace Cathedral we were both in need of some lunch - our next destination was the SFMoMA, so we found a convenient and tasty sandwich shop on Market Street and headed over to beautiful Yerba Buena Gardens for some alfresco dining in the shade of this tree. This was a perfect rest in the middle of a busy day of walking - just seeing the dappled light on this tree trunk relaxes my senses and transports me back instantly.
