Found along 16th Street - Mission Dolores, San Francisco CA

Here's a last shot from our visit to Mission Dolores - this is the old adobe wall that runs along 16th street, shielding the Mission Dolores Cemetery Gardens adjacent to the original Mission building. The oldest church building still standing in California and the oldest structure in San Francisco, Mission Dolores has stood firm against the tests of time.

I neglected to mention that we were accompanied on our visit to the Mission by our dear friend Valerie, who served as our capable guide through the Mission District - stay tuned this week for some views found on our mutual wanderings through this culturally rich neighborhood.
