Found at Moose Hill Wildlife Sanctuary, Sharon MA

Bark and bokeh - two great tastes that go great together. The golden hue cast by afternoon light on this peeling bark was too hard to resist, photographically-speaking - when I was just 'knee-high to a grasshopper', I would have actually peeled off some bark, for sure. Funny how the realization that wisdom comes with age doesn't typically until many years have been lived...
