The parting shot in this walking series is a scene I don't usually see while driving past this old homestead. Every summer, the former residents of this house would sell homegrown white peaches by the roadside - now a "Sold" sign is in place of the fruit stand and the building waits to become a home once again. As I framed this shot, I wondered how often the former owners would sit on this little porch and watch the world go by - it seemed so cold and abandoned now, yet these two chairs brought a warmth of imagined memories to the scene.
...and I've just gotten a request for a fully desaturated version, and since I'm always game for a different look, you may find an alternate, b/w version right here.
