There's a small wall that divides our parking lot in Boston from an adjacent church - atop this wall is a series of wrought iron bent spears, seen here in all their Photoshopped glory.
I shot these from underneath and there was no real detail showing in the surface of the iron until I mangled it up pretty fairly in PS - the plastic wrap effect seen on the spears in this image is drawn from the actual texture of the iron as brought out through editing. I thought that this worked well as a kind of abstract, and it seemed like a logical pairing with yesterday's planetary posting.
