This is the third image in the "Stoned in the City" series that began Tuesday with a simple slab. Today's image returns to the Christian Science Mother Church - a veritable treasure trove of architectural goodness. This is the top of a column in an entryway in the back of the church, in a portion of the original structure. They look like watchful eyes to me.

Today is Thanksgiving Day here in the States - I hope my Canadian viewers have already worked off their Thanksgiving intake from last month in preparation for the upcoming year-end holiday's repast:-) Happy Thanksgiving, whether you celebrate in October or November!
