This is the fifth image in the "Stoned in the City" series that began Tuesday. Around the corner from Wednesday's watchers and beneath our view from yesterday, we have this bit of work above a large side door to the church. Not only are multiple architectural influences at work around this building, but there is a marvelous blend of materials used, seen here in contrasting stone colors. Fine carving here.
