Here's something of an abstract - this is a portion of a highly polished fossil stone that we picked up on a little get-away years ago. There's a lot to study in this bit of stone, and here it's reminiscent of some faraway planet. I used my 75-300 lens for this session, rather than fiddle with my close-up filters.
