While the shot seen in yesterday's guest post was being secretly snapped, I was shooting this scene - I love the even-ness of light on overcast days and the motion blur of the river here gives the perfect frozen glaze to its surface.

As of today, we're both enjoying the annual winter break from work - for the next eleven days we'll enjoy the peaceful absence of our workday commute and plentiful time for relaxation and of course, photography:-)
