Christmas is nearly upon us and while many are still jostling about with the hubbub of the holiday, our thoughts turn to the greater meanings of this annual event. After pondering today's post for the better part of a day, my eyes set upon a small crystal bird resting quietly in one of our many bookcases and I knew my quest - although the bird isn't a dove, I immediately thought that it and its little candle aglow with hope were the perfect symbols of our perpetual holiday wish for peace and goodwill everywhere.
