Just over nine solid years of this wonderful publication occupy just over one full bookcase shelf in our dining area - we kept the annual gift subscription bestowed upon us by my parents for as long as we could find storage space for the many issues, stopping just prior to a move from apartment to apartment. I just can't bear to part with this particular shelfload of rich history, and there are still isssues dating back to the 1960's back at my parents' house - quite the yellow shelf there.

Tidbit: just over nine years of National Geographic (including maps) weigh in at just over 100 pounds - I know, I had to move them:-)
