Spring is doing its best to send winter on its way - the weather was brisk but beautiful during Easter weekend and we decided to take a ride to one of our regular hiking locales: Borderland State Park. This area is the site of the Ames mansion, the 'garage' of which is seen here. This scene beckoned to me in the afternoon light, an interesting blend of old and new in wood, metal, stone, and plastic. More images from the mansion grounds to come throughout the week...
