b/wednesday

I've been getting a great deal of good feedback on my b/w work, so I've decided to make a regular thing of it - from this point forward, I will endeavor to post a b/w shot each Wednesday...B/Wednesday, if you want to call it that:-) Along with my regular abstract posts on the 19th of each month, I hope this will provide a running thread here and one that will slowly allow for building a decent portfolio in those genres.

Today, a simple stone bench waiting for the last patch of snow to melt - it looks like the end pieces have been re-done since they're so much 'cleaner' looking than the seat itself. The ground hasn't really frozen up this winter, so the lawns are likely to look really green for the spring and early summer - they've definitely had PLENTY of moisture over the season!
