Part of my stroll last week was through the always interesting Fenway Victory Gardens, a community garden where neighborhood residents have been issued small but workable plots with which to raise their bounty. The Canada Goose activity around the gardens was pretty evident, with many pairs grazing the lawns, already lush in some spots. As I was leaving the gardens, I happened upon this loner who let me approach within a few feet before finally issuing forth a few honks of warning - this shot is about 500 feet across the Muddy River from yesterday's 'bridge work' and was snapped right before the first honk:-)
