Today we jump forward to a more recent shot from an outdoor walk with the new lens in tow - here's a decidedly non-macro use as a 100mm prime lens. There are numerous bird houses scattered about the property of the apartment community where we live and each spring, we look forward to the appearance of 'new tenants' in these simple dwellings. During our Sunday stroll, we finally spied a bit of evidence dangling from this house's entry - a real herald of spring, for sure!
