Found at Stony Brook Wildlife Sanctuary, Norfolk MA

This fine specimen of male Mute Swan isn't trying to look pretty here - he's not happy about some Canada Geese that are in his territory and this display is meant to be imposing to rivals. Nevertheless, it's a beautiful sight for us.

My lovely wife has a short series over at flickr that shows a bit more of what took place during this swan-goose encounter - I also have a few out-takes that may well end up gettin' flickr-ized later.
