Found at the Palace of Fine Arts, San Francisco CA
The original structures here were meant to be temporary and were built with essentially plaster and burlap - to be dismantled by around 1917, the original Palace lasted until 1962 before efforts were made to rebuild this landmark. Now built from poured and cast concrete, this blend of Roman architecture with Greek ornamentation is a wonderful city oasis.
