Found at Strybing Arboretum and Botanical Gardens, San Francisco CA
An absolute gem of Golden Gate Park, the Strybing Arboretum and Botanical Gardens is tucked in near the low-numbered Avenues of the Inner Sunset neighborhood - we had visited this sublimely spectacular location during our trip last year, but we hadn't spent nearly enough time in our previous wanderings. We made a more thorough survey of the Arboretum grounds this time around, strolling around every area that wasn't being pelted with irrigation sprinklers.
We saw many hummingbirds during our trip, but managed to capture with our lenses precisely none - they were rather fond of these blossoms whose identity is unknown to me. If anyone happens to know, please give me a heads-up so I can accurately identify these lovely, hanging blooms.
