Photo Info
Found at Strybing Arboretum and Botanical Gardens, San Francisco CA
Common Foxglove (Digitalis purpurea) is both beautiful and highly toxic - their poisonous nature doesn't stop several types of larval moth from choosing these trumpet-like blossoms or their accompanying leaves as favorite food sources. Blooming in several locations throughout the grounds at Strybing, these flowers and their surroundings were saturated by the diffuse, foggy overcast of nature's softbox.
