Over 200 years old, Mission Dolores is the oldest structure in the city - more properly know as Misión de San Francisco Asis, this landmark's simple beginnings near a small settlement called Yerba Buena ultimately led to the birth of the beautiful city of San Francisco. Terra cotta and adobe gave way to steel and concrete, but the legacy remains.
