Found at Alamo Square, San Francisco CA
Our final photographic destination for this summer's visit to San Francisco was Alamo Square, home of the famous Postcard Row of seven beautifully maintained Victorian homes on Steiner Street. After shooting the obligatory frames of this scene, with the contrast of period architecture backed by modern urban sprawl in the distance, we began to explore different details around this green space. I'll settle for this large planter near Steiner Street with four of the "Seven Sisters" visible in the background (The top of the Transamerica Pyramid is visible on the left, too) - while I do have my share of 'traditional' views from this area, none compare to the fresh perspective captured by my lovely wife, to whom I'll defer.
Tomorrow wraps this extended summer series with one more image from Alamo Square...
