Found below the Filbert Street Steps - Telegraph Hill, San Francisco CA

Just near Napier Lane on the Filbert Steps is some boardwalk decking and railing - I was lucky enough to glance downward over the railing to discover this glowing pink hydrangea, basking in the overhead sunlight. This cluster of blossoms was easily as big as a softball, if not bigger. It always pays to look in directions other than straight ahead.
