Photo Info
Here's a good one to end this first "from the vault" series - this frame was my choice to print when my photography class was ending. Somewhere, I may still have the print, deep, deep down in the archives. For now, a transfer from the negative will suffice. If I remember correctly, the print was made using Kodak Polycontrast RC stock in standard Kodak b/w chemistry using a big Beseler condenser enlarger with I don't know what poly filter. This has been balanced to approximate my memories of the original print in terms of contrast.
Back to color tomorrow:-)
ALSO: after pricing out several film scanners, I decided that for my purposes, a flatbed would be more appropriate - enter one new Epson 4180 with transparency unit built into the lid. So far, I'm pretty pleased.
