Working at a music school has its photographic benefits, as musical instruments can provide limitless visual possibilities. Here, we have a much-played and lovingly cared for saxophone - this instrument in particular has probably channeled more music than most of us have ever heard and its warm tones are present both audibly AND visually. A subtle note (ouch, no pun intended) here is that the key pads (the things that help cover up the holes) on this sax are blue in color, rather than the standard white or cream color, which I thought was a nice touch and shows the special attention this horn receives.
