Found on the Filbert Street Steps - Telegraph Hill, San Francisco CA

Just below Montgomery Street on the Filbert Steps is a wonderfully shaded area where ferns enjoy a bit of foliage-filtered sunlight - the fantastic gardens that blanket this lower section of Telegraph Hill begin here and stretch nearly down to Sansome Street. With wild parrots gathered in the trees overhead, I could linger in this peaceful spot all day.
